STANDARD FEES
RESIDENTIAL PURCHASE OR REFINANCE

Effective January 1, 2010 for new GFE/HUD requirements

Settlement Fee: $485.00 – Effective January 1, 2010 the new GFE and HUD-1 require all title, closing and attorney costs be combined. Our “Settlement Fee” includes all costs and fees that are associated with our representation of the lender, as follows: attorney fees, title examination fees, commitment fees, courier/overnight delivery fees, etc.

Instructions for completing the new GFE:

Purchase: $485.00
(Settlement Fee) + Lenders Title Insurance Premium.
(See Title Insurance Structure below, with simultaneous issue discounts requirement.)

Refinance: $485.00 (Settlement Fee) + Lenders Title Insurance Premium.

Recording Charges
: We suggest using $80.00 due to the fact that this charge varies from transaction to transaction.

StateTax Stamps:

Transfer Tax: $1.00/$1,000.00, or a fraction thereof, based on the purchase price.
Intangible Tax: $1.50/$500.00, or a fraction thereof, based on the final loan amount.

* All Title Insurance rates are published with the State of Georgia. A detailed rate chart can be obtained from our office upon request.

Lenders Title Policy rate: $2.00/$1,000.00 up to $500,000.00, and an additional $1.70/$1,000.00 for amounts over $500,000.00.
Simultaneous Issue rate: Lenders Policy will be issued for $100.00 when issued at the same time as an Owners Policy.
Owners Title Policy rate: $3.00/$1,000.00 up to $500,000.00, and an additional $2.45/$1,000.00 for amounts over $500,000.00.
